Emotional Intelligence can be a magical thing. When we exercise and grow our emotional intelligence, we become more aware of, in more control, and better able to express emotions in a healthy manner. In other words, it is the capacity to handle relationships appropriately and empathetically.

In relationships, emotional intelligence translates into the ability to be in touch with your own emotions as well as those of your partner(s).

A person’s capacity for empathy and ability to be present and talk about emotions in a healthy and loving way are both components of emotional intelligence (and a huge turn-on!).

Here are just some of the ways that emotional intelligence can be demonstrated in a relationship (and this can be mono, poly, FWB, close friendships, etc.). Becoming more aware and intentional with these experiences can help ignite intimacy and create meaningful experiences.

Let’s recap… yes I could let any one of these $Let’s recap… yes I could let any one of these things go but I’d like to put into context just how much a creator has to deal with on any single day and why I continue to fight for kindness and positivity. . This is just a fraction of the last couple days and why making content has become difficult. Within 12 hours of setting up my art shop on square space to house my PAINTINGS, I am banned from stripe because they don’t want to be associated with my art or the fact that I’m a board-certified s*xologist and educator. . I also was just told by instagram that because I posted my paintings on my @that.lit.witch account, that account will no longer be shown to non-followers because they see my PAINTINGS as potential offensive. . I’ve had scammers and fake accounts popping up left and right causing my followers strife with messages and DMs. . I’ve spent hours submitting lengthy forms to TT to get the accounts removed on copywrite violations because they keep coming back and saying no violations are found when I report them for impersonation. . I’ve hired a legal team to go after other accounts and scrub the internet on my behalf and be told they can’t do anything about certain types of accounts that are doing damage out there and I’ll have to work with the platforms myself. . I’m accused of being attention seeker for posting a small video showing my hair because I was genuinely in love with how healthy it felt after my treatment and wanted to support my good friend and her salon (I’m sorry Nikki for that jerk and he’s been blocked.) . Finally.. that little rich girl problems comment… SERIOUSLY!? I came from a home where my mom worked her tail off to MAKE my clothes because we couldn’t afford new ones. Christmas wrapping was made of newspaper and my mom still made us feel like we we had everything we needed. I’ve worked multiple jobs since I was 16, I put myself through school while raising my kids, and I still work 15 hours a day 7 days a week. Sure. Rich girl problems 🙄 . This doesn’t include the countless comments I delete that are harassing, rude, or disrespectful to others, or saying I deserve this because I am in the public eye. NO HUMAN DESERVES THIS.$
